Patient Management

LIS Bio-Diagnosis can manage one or more medical laboratories / diagnostic centers. The information it manages can be administrative and medical. Bio-Diagnosis is absolutely customer-centric at the level of patient management, monitoring both medical and financial records.

Laboratory Management Subsystem (LIS)

The Bio-Diagnosis Laboratory Management Subsystem (LIS) of is one of the most powerful in the Greek market.

At workflow level it is divided into five stages:

  • Collection of samples from the Laboratory

  • Separation of samples and examinations

  • Processing samples in analyzers depending on the nature of the tests

  • Confirmation of the results

  • Printout & Transmission of the results

Administrative and Financial Services Management

The Administrative and Financial Services Management focuses on the full computerized support and process of all procedures related to the organization and operation of any modern medical laboratory services provision unit.

Other characteristics

  • Transmission of e-mails and SMS

  • Access of test results by the patient

  • Ability to design test result response forms

  • Secure two-way interconnection with external laboratories (“MediSyn”, “Labnet”, “Biochemistry”, “In Vitro Labs”), minimizing required actions on behalf of the user.

  • Issuance and management of computerized retail receipts and invoices.

  • Monitoring Clientele’s financial data

  • Transmission of documents to MYDATA

  • Connection to EOPYY (National Organization for the Provision of Health Services)

  • Ability to manage a network of laboratories.

  • Ability to keep a Revenues-Expenses Ledger or a C' Category Ledger.

  • Integrated GDPR procedures including:

    • Consent for Personal Data Management

    • Restriction of editing & user access rights

    • Encryption (for transmitting data to third parties)

    • Subjects’ Rights over Personal Data Processing

    • Backup and Restore Procedures

    • Implementation of Anonymity when Personal Data are involved in the exchange of data with external laboratories.

    • GDPR Information Statements.

  • Ability to register a digital signature on any number of terminals (requires the supply of relevant tablet equipment).
